One thing that countless individuals fail to realize is that the celebrities that we tend to see on a more or less regular basis are presenting an image of themselves that does not necessarily correspond to reality once all has been said and is now out of the way. The reason behind this is that they have a huge army of makeup artists, PR personnel and other professionals who help to cultivate their image, and this means that the reality behind who they truly are might be a lot different than might have been the case otherwise.

A great example of this that we can think of off the top of our heads is Lady Gaga. Chances are that you have been to here live concerts, and you have probably thought that she is a bit of a towering figure who is lithe and tall. However, you may be a little shocked to learn that she is actually incredibly short, coming in at a little over 5 feet and 1 inch. That is well below the average height for a person, and it’s something that she often tries to hide.

One reason that you might not know how short she is could have something to do with her wearing really high heels. Her heels are sometimes ten inches long which obviously adds quite a bit to her height. The fact that she is short might distort her image as a legendary musical figure, so it makes a lot of sense that she would want to wear heels. Also, these heels make her stand out in a crowd which is another thing that would work to her advantage from a marketing perspective.
